I had been searching around the web for some last-minute inspiration but could not find what I was looking for so I decided to create a few printables myself.
Because my girls are only 9 and 6 I did not want anything too scary so I designed a few cute characters and added some Halloween phrases.

After hunting around in the loft I managed to find some old A4 photo frames that I had lying around.
So I dusted them off (I probably should have left the dust – it would have made it more spooky π ) and used them to frame the pictures.
I was going to hang them up but I did not want a row of 3 nail holes left in the wall once Halloween was over so I displayed them on a side table.

In addition to the framed Halloween printables, I added some fake spider webs, some plastic spiders, and a couple of little pumpkins.
I also drew little spiders on a glass candle votive with a marker pen.

Despite it being really simple I was really happy with how the display turned out and the kids thought it looked fab too.
It’s certainly got them in the mood for doing some Halloween-themed crafts this weekend.
Oh yes, and whilst we are on the theme of Halloween here is a fun craft you can make with the kids: Horse Chestnut Spider Webs
